4-24-19 NMHG meeting minutes

At Right Brain Brewery, Traverse City.

Attendance: 21

Extensive brewery tour by Russell Springsteen.

We need folks to get in orders for their NMHG shirts to Brian Pugh as soon as possible. We have 22 orders, and need 48 to get the pricing we were quoted.

May 4: Big Brew Day at Terra Firma. Beers this year are a blonde and a New England. 10 a.m. start time. Need people to put up flyers.

May meeting at Workshop Brewing. Date TBA.

June 15: Suds N Sun. Homebrew competition. Brew 5 gallons. Style: New England IPA. Volunteers to brew: Brian Pugh, Dave Mellor, Bruce Williams, Dan McGee.

June 22: Club party at MI Local clubhouse (former Highpointe Golf Course clubhouse location). Live music, BBQ, beer, camping available. Bring homebrew. We have to supply all the beer. Can brew on site. Start around noon. Club members only (plus family and close friends).

New club member Jim Dagwell helped us solve our IRS/non-profit status problems and get the club back on track in that area.

Post-meeting party at UBrew to taste new variety.
